Eroica Britannia

My first visit to the vintage / retro cycling festival in the quaint town of Bakewell.  The mud was thick, but so was the atmosphere – thick with laughter and enjoyment.   Tweed was in abundance, as were the pre-1987 bicycles, the vintage caps and jerseys. Dogs, families and men alike were judged on their attire, while people sipped G&T on the sidelines.   Bicycles of all shapes and sizes were perused by Chris Boardman, former British racing cyclist, Olympic medalist and record holder.   What fun!
