Today was a day of mixed creativity. It started with a spot of bird watching and the hope of photographing a goldcrest. Having seen one within spitting distance at Longshaw Estate last Sunday, I thought I’d try my luck today. Well, after two hours of listening, and watching and waiting, I only managed to catch a glimpse of one, high up in a pine tree. Despite the lack of goldcrests, I did have a dabble at capturing the sunbeams streaming through the trees before snapping a collie waiting for his owner.
Later, after a mammoth guitar practice session, I had a most enjoyable walk with my friend’s new puppy, Dexter. Do you know how difficult it is to photograph a gambolling puppy with one had holding the lead and brandishing a camera in the other?
