352/365 – Work’s Christmas Do

Landscape, Photography

I must first apologise for the lack of planning on day 351.   It was the day of our work’s Christmas Do and I was loathe to lug my heavy DSLR around with me when I needed to focus all of my attention on keeping upright whilst walking in heels.   By the time I’d remembered to take a photo of the day, my colleagues and I were somewhat…erm…inebriated.  To make matters worse, I used a little point and shoot Canon which didn’t seem up to the job – almost all of the images were out of focus, blurred and discoloured. Frankly though, I can only offer up the best of a bad lot. So rather than embarrass any of my colleagues, I’ll just post a selfie and  share a photo I took on a cold, December morning in North Yorkshire in 2014.   The contrast in temperature this year compared to last, is remarkable.  Today, it is 14 degrees Celcius!
