I recently found an interesting article by Glyn Dewis, Photographer and Retoucher, and thought I’d try his suggested one-light portrait shots. The premise is to always have a black piece of card, or similar easy-to-carry backdrop, a single flash with a softbox (of sorts) and your camera. It’s simple, effective, and can be used anywhere, anytime!
Well, the in-laws were over this afternoon, so I thought I’d make the most of their visit! I’ve been told that I need to work on my photographer’s patter because the phrase “I really want to photograph your lines” didn’t go down well 😉
