130/365 – Burton Agnes Norman Manor House

Architecture, Photography

A quick pit stop on the way back from Bempton Cliffs saw us wandering around Burton Agnes Norman Manor House, built in 1173! It is a Grade 1 listed building managed by English Heritage and sits next to the beautiful Burton Agnes Hall.   We did not venture into the Hall for two reasons, a) the entry price and b) we were wearing the scrattiest of camping attire and were worried we may be mistaken for dishevelled looters!
