69/365 – Yellow

I hold my hands up, this is not the greatest of images but it’s a record of an intention.   I spotted this woman as I came out of the train station this morning.  Her yellow jacket caught my eye amongst the see of black, grey and navy blue.   It’s such a cheerful jacket and I knew immediately that I wanted to capture her in the crowd. We happened to be walking in the same direction but my attempts to grab a good composition were thwarted a) by people wandering across my shot at inappropriate moments and b) she was very fast! After 5 minutes or so, I spotted an opportunity to run across the road and up ahead of her – just in time catch her passing some old boarding with an equally yellow sign on it!   It turns out that all my settings were wrong, but you get the idea…
