59/365 – Copse

Landscape, Nature, Photography

Friends came to stay on Saturday and we had a leisurely walk on the moors on the outskirts of Sheffield.   It was grey and overcast with a strong, cold wind. There are very few trees or shrubs on the heathland, but this little copse caught my eye with its thin, spindly trees trying to take hold on the nutrient poor soil.
