20/365 – Vented

Abstract, Photography

I left work early to make the most of the fading sun.  At the train station, the decorative fountains had been turned off in preparation for the freezing temperatures we are expecting tonight.   While I was trying to decide an approach to capturing the still water in the pools below the fountains, I stumbled across an air vent with an unusual herringbone pattern.   It made for a good abstract image with a shallow depth of field.   The bluish tinge is simply the sky reflecting off the metal.
